The Myth of Juneteenth is that it set us free. Too many of us, over 150 years later, remain trapped in the bondage of the Corporate Foundation. It's time to break free!

A Message from the Founder, JJ Conway

"Whether or not your ancestors were American slaves, if you are dark-skinned in this country, there exists systemic racism and unique obstacles to your personal and professional success. Juneteenth Legacy is about strategic thinking and action planning to overcome these obstacles"

Black Wall Street

On May 31 and June 1, 1921, mobs of white residents attacked Black residents, homes, and businesses, as well as cultural and public institutions in the Greenwood District of Tulsa, OK, an oil boom city. Greenwood was also know as "Black Wall Street," one of the wealthiest Black communities in the United States. The 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre stands as one of the worst race massacres in U.S. History.

Business and Investment

In June 2025, Mayor Monroe Nichols brought forward a plan for a Road to Repair that will help unify Tulsans and heal multi-generational wounds from the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. This initiative will address disparities experienced by survivors, descendants, residents and businesses.
